Key Accountabilities
- Organise and coordinate training courses and workshops delivered to internal & external clients
- Maintaining the work unit's record management system, responding to correspondence, monitoring deadlines, prioritising, and following up task progress, promptly, tactfully and with appropriate confidentiality
- Interfacing and liaising with clients, internal and external stakeholders either by telephone or face-to-face to facilitate the efficient and effective administration of day-to-day operations of the work unit
- Co-ordinating travel requirements including flight bookings, accommodation, car hire and travel claims as per department policies and objectives
- Purchasing of consumables, training materials, services, and assets
- Administer contracts for priority projects for business unit clients and other projects as required
- Assisting in the preparation of correspondence, quotations, tender documents, presentations, and technical reports relating to the RTO
- Assisting in the management of equipment inventories including annual stocktakes
- Coordinate and contribute to the business unit's accommodation, motor vehicles, information technology, information management and human resources requirements, as appropriate
