**How will I Help?**

BT is the wealth management arm of the Westpac Group. BT designs, manufactures and administers financial products that enable customers to achieve their financial goals through the accumulation, management, and protection of personal wealth.

As Distribution Manager, you will be expected to have sound understanding of the changing landscape of the financial services environment and will need to be self-directed to stay abreast of legislative and regulatory impacts on licensees, financial advisers, and their clients.

BT Platform, Investments & Operations (BT PI&O) is a Business Unit within BT and is part of Westpac’s Banking and Wealth division. PI&O is responsible for the Product and Servicing and Operations of our Market Leading platforms: Panorama, BT Wrap, and Asgard.

Core Areas of Responsibility Include
- Introducing new platform-led opportunities to BT via the identified target segments
- Identifying new segments for distribution opportunities to BT PI&O
- Managing pipeline and opportunities from initiation through to activation
- Co-ordinating activity, executing strategy and delivering new platform business

**What do I need?**

You will possess a strong sales drive, be results oriented and have excellent negotiation skills. Superior stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills are essential for this role, as is the ability to deal with senior industry figures at all levels.

To be successful you will have the following:

- Extensive relationship management/sales experience across funds management or investment platforms
- Experience in Distribution Strategy execution, including take to market experience for product launches
- Sound knowledge of legislative / technical rules concerning investments, superannuation products including mastermind and wrap products
- Sound understanding of the competitive environment in which BT platforms operate
- An understanding of the financial advice market
- Tertiary qualifications in a business, finance or financial planning discipline
- RG146 compliant
