**About the Company**
Our large NSW State Government client supports vulnerable children and families to participate in social and economic life to build stronger communities.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking multiple professional and empathetic Client Service Officers to join their team in Sutherland or Strawberry Hills. This is an estimated 3-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Community Service Centre (CSC), you will be required to provide a wide range of frontline customer and administrative support services to contribute to the overall effective delivery of quality services in a CSC.
In this rewarding role, you will be undertaking the following duties:
- Provide frontline professional and empathetic customer service to vulnerable clients
- Act as first point of contact, answer inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
- Escalate complex inquiries to ensure issues are resolved appropriately
- Reception and switchboard duties, providing referral service for clients
- Gather and collate information to support informed decision making outcomes
- Manage, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
- Schedule and coordinate meetings including arranging catering, equipment and overall presentation
- Preparation of a wide range of documentation including spreadsheets, reports and correspondence
- Complete financial administrative duties including processing authorised payments and SAP reports
- Records and database management ensuring accuracy, integrity and confidentiality
- Provide support to the Casework teams including preparation of case files and court documentation
- Work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, including referral services to ensure effective outcomes are achieved for vulnerable clients
- Participate in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with Departmental processes and procedures
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following:
- Demonstrated Administration or Business Support experience
- Professional and empathetic nature
- Previous experience working within a complex or sensitive environment and with vulnerable clients
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office suite, SAP and TRIM
- High attention to detail
- Takes initiative, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medically exempt
- Valid Working With Children’s Check and willingness to undergo a ChildStory and National Police Checks
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
