Social Work clinicians within the Allied Health - Social Work directorate work as a team to meet clinical demand in keeping with Clinical Prioritisation Document. Staff will be required to work across other clinical services and facilities within the HHS as required to assist in providing clinical / operational leadership to ensure SCHHS is meeting patient care needs, managing leave cover, and succession planning of staff across the organisation.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
- Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective Social Work services across the SCHHS.
- Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.
- Work collaboratively with the operational managers, Discipline Directors and multidisciplinary Allied Health teams to implement clinical governance requirements that align with the Allied Health Governance Framework and Business Rules.
