You are also responsible for establishing enduring productive partnerships with key stakeholders in your region as well as the ongoing professional development and management of staff by: - Leading and managing staff, physical and financial resources in accordance with the department's service delivery framework including relevant legislation, strategic objectives, policies and contemporary best practice standards. - Allocating, prioritising and performing work tasks in accordance with departmental procedures and statutory, financial and administrative delegations. - Providing leadership and management in the delivery of sport and recreation services in your region including the collaborative development of appropriate service responses to meet the identified needs of customers.- Actively participating in and, where appropriate, leading local area forums with government and non-government stakeholders, promoting a positive and accountable public image and the development of productive partnerships to support service delivery outcomes by: - providing local support and encouragement of sport and recreation participation;
- working with Members of Parliament and local Councils;
- collaborating with communities, organisations and government agencies, including representing the department and engaging with key clients on significant matters relating to service area delivery
