The purpose of this role is to lead and manage complex strategic projects across the business to meet the evolving needs of the Specialised Insurance Group. Through working in collaboration with the business, this role is responsible for designing, delivering and driving integrated operational and strategic plans and initiatives to ensure organisational objectives, profitability, and contractual requirements are met and superior claims management services delivered.
This will be a **permanent, full time **position based in our **Sydney **office, with flexibility to work from home 3 days per week once you complete training.
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with the business to design, manage and deliver strategic and operational projects to support improved results and outcomes.
- Analyse business processes and give recommendations for improvement. Ensuring appropriate strategies are in place to maximise performance revenue.
- Ensure specific change management plans are created with respect to training, communication to, and orientation of employees in conjunction with key Business Stakeholders impacted by the proposed change(s).
- Ensure changes, issues, risks, and dependencies are effectively managed, including the development of contingency plans. Escalate changes, risks, issues and dependencies that exceed his/her remit.
- Measure, monitor and report on regular agreed timeframes to demonstrate actions, success, deviations and risks.
- Partner with EML Business Units & Shared Services to design and implement projects.
- Consulting with stakeholders within Specialised Group to identify key business requirements.
- Identify trends in skills gaps within Specialised Insurance Group and develop strategies to improve capability.
- Identify regulatory, contractual, policy and governance requirements in consultation with internal specialists and implement effective compliance arrangements in business operations.
- Ensure strategic alignment of objectives and adequacy of controls, systems, processes and reporting capability to support the organisation's growth and efficiency.
**ABOUT YOU**
- Demonstrated knowledge of project management methodologies (accreditation preferred)
- Comprehensive understanding of NSW workers compensation legislation.
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Exercise Science) is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, evaluation and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience working at a strategic level of contemporary learning and development / organisational development in medium to large organizations.
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, working within a fast-paced business environment.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products e.g. MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
