**Your Impact**
Our Environment, Health, and Safety roadmap and practices are core to Asahi Beverages' business, and we are looking for a passionate individual to lead a team of EHS professionals to engage and partner with our Supply Chain function.
Reporting to the Group General Manager EHS you will drive the EHS culture at Asahi Beverages and ensure all Environmental, Health, and Safety activities are carried out effectively across our manufacturing and logistics footprint and drive a continuous improvement mindset across our teams.
- Noting this role can be based in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne. This role will require travel across our extensive Supply Chain footprint._
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead adoption and understanding with stakeholders of our Zero Harm ambition, vision and strategic pillars that enable this ambition and the EHS culture
- Work closely with partnering group and EHS team to deliver on strategic plans and initiatives
- Ensuring key internal stakeholders/decision makers are involved with the development and implementation of health and safety strategy and that they actively support health and safety initiatives
- Driving a business culture where Safety and Commercial decisions are not mutually exclusive
- Leading a customer oriented (internal and external) Environment, Health & Safety team
- Providing leadership and driving action on all aspects of safety and environmental management
- Actively driving the organisation’s Health & Safety vision and associated KPIs
- Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance in HSE activities and management of non-conformance issues across Supply Chain
- Coordinate implementation of and drive continuous improvement of all EHS programs and processes across Supply Chain.
**About you**
- Tertiary Qualification and additional training/certification in Environment or Health and Safety or equivalent preferable
- A high level of understanding of the legal and ethical framework that governs environment health and safety
- Proven senior manager with demonstrated environment, health, and safety experience
- Track record of business partnering and coaching of senior leaders to shape ownership of EHS culture
- Demonstrated people leadership and management experience
- Demonstrated experience in project and change management
- Proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels
