About the School
Woodcrest is a P-12 College in the Greater Springfield area of Ipswich. The successful applicant for Head of School Primary will have demonstrated experience and outcomes in leading school-wide improvement agendas. They will demonstrate proven capability in leading staff around complex behaviours and supporting students with a diverse range of learning needs. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) would be an advantage. A strong commitment to the P-12 ethos is an imperative of this position.
About the Role
As the Principal, Head of School, Head of Campus you will have responsibility for the following:

- Lead the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Uphold the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Active participants in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
- Futures oriented and strategic.
- Understand the legislation and policies that impact on schooling.
- Manage resources to achieve goals.
