We are working on behalf of a client seeking an Environmental Manager to work alongside their team of highly skilled professionals undertaking a wide range of civil projects. They have been operating in the market for many decades with vast experience in road & highways, rail, airport and commercial & residential land developments.

The role will involve successful development and management of key internal and external stakeholder relationships. You will be responsible for the timely and effective management of environmental assessment. Other responsibilities include:

- Provision of environmental expertise and advice on environmental practices and design, risk minimisation, controls and strategic and compliance issues.
- Coordinate all relevant licenses, permits and planning approvals that are required
- Ensure the completion of inspection and monitoring checklists and reports
- Conduct environmental audits and inspections
- Ensure that the CEMP is established, implemented and maintained and in compliance with relevant environmental legislation
- Liaise with relevant parties on all environmental-related issues.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in environmental management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with technical reporting skills and experience in data management software and preparation of environmental reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated experience/understanding of NSW legislation frameworks and policies governing land use planning, environmental impact assessment and knowledge of reforms
