As transaction banking product specialists, we support the GIBC relationship management team in delivering solutions to institutional customers. You will be accountable for supporting the execution of strategy, delivery and implementation of products, processes and projects based on the needs of the IB&M Transaction Banking Solutions (TBS) Business. You will work with stakeholders of all levels of seniority across the Group as you contribute to the overall success of the TBS business through effective operational management and strategic execution.

Supporting the Director of Strategy & Business Performance, the Associate role will see you joining a high performing team that assists in delivering compelling analysis and insights to the TBS leadership as well as providing key performance reporting, process improvements and delivering other ad hoc projects with our key Product partners across the group.

**Do work that matters**:
You will play a key role in providing client, transaction and operational support to Senior Bankers across the customer lifecycle, responsibilities include:

- Deliver quality and informative reporting to management and key stakeholders, as we continue to adapt key metrics to the evolving needs of our business (through multiple channels including dashboards).
- Perform insightful and critical analysis over the TBS portfolio to drive better business outcomes and prosecute strategic opportunities.
- Leverage various data sources and business acumen to help verify assumptions and recommendations.
- Act as internal consultant and advocate for the IB&M Voice of Customer, representing the TBS business on a variety of working groups, projects and initiatives delivering a combination of strategic, change and risk management outcomes.
- Identify, and support delivering for continuous improvement in existing processes.
- Support the execution of the CITB strategy

Further, you’ll bring,
- Relevant experience in a role within Product, Segment, Financial Services, or, Transactional Banking
- Consulting role within a Big 4 chartered firm
- A strong client centric mindset focused on understanding and meeting clients’ needs
- Strong interpersonal, collaboration and negotiation skills
- Strong sense of urgency and a proactive approach as well as being highly organised and efficient, with an ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Great communication skills
- Advanced excel and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstrable experience in project management and/or reporting
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce or other business-related degree. Post graduate studies will be well regarded.
