Yes Hospitality has been providing outsource services to hotels, apartment, commercial/domestic cleaning in various location in Melbourne since 2011. We provide the finest services to our clients with a passion for work and highly trained staff.
We are currently recruiting for permanent part-time Houseman that are available to work in a 5-star hotel.
Our client is based in Melbourne CBD. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to expand and secure their career in the hospitality industry.
**Job Summary**:
The Houseman is responsible for ensuring that the hotel common areas, including guest rooms, lobby, hallways, and public restrooms are clean, presentable, and well-maintained at all times.
**Job Duties and Responsibilities**:
Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned by the Housekeeping Manager or Executive Housekeeper.
Strip and make beds, replace linens, and clean and sanitize bathrooms and other guest room facilities.
Stock guest rooms with supplies, including towels, soap, and shampoo as request
Maintain cleanliness and order in housekeeping storage areas and supply closets.
Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies, assistance with room amenities, and other needs.
Communicate effectively with housekeeping staff, front desk personnel, and other hotel employees to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures related to cleanliness, safety, and security and Yes Hospitality standard.
**Qualifications**:
1. Previous experience in housekeeping or related field preferred.
2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask while maintaining a high level of cleanliness and in hotel room.
The job also requires the ability to lift and carry heavy cleaning equipment and supplies, as well as move heavy objects such as mattresses and furniture.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays./ Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Must adhere to uniform and grooming standards required by the hotel or establishment.
**A valid Victorian driver license is required.**

Pay: $23.23 per hour
