About the role
Permanent and fixed term temporary part time opportunities to deliver high-quality patient services within their scope of clinical practice granted by the Credentialing Committee(s) in the hospital(s) and MNHHS facilities in which you perform this work.
About you
- Treat patients and their families with courtesy and sympathy and treat all hospital staff and professional colleagues with courtesy and respect.
- Continue close collaboration with primary care organisations and general practitioners.
- Deliver appropriate high-quality care of patients requiring specialist palliative care in both hospital and nonhospital settings.
- Provide advice to general practitioners and other medical specialists about management of patients and providing comprehensive management plans to assist these practitioners continue their care and to arrange ongoing specialist palliative care follow-up when appropriate.
- Perform any other duties as directed by the Clinical Director of Palliative Care which are within your scope of clinical practice (SoCP) and for which you are registered in by the Medical Board of Australia.
