Operations Manager

**About the Role** Australian Green Clean currently has an exciting opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our Head Office in Hindmarsh. Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational requirements of the events and commercial arms of the business to support its sustainable growth and deliver the budget. This includes ensuring client satisfaction, operational excellence and ensuring compliance standards are met. You will focus on improving operational efficiency, meeting client satisfaction, identifying and mitigating risk and ensuring WH&S industry best practices are followed. **Key Duties** - Manage day to day operations to deliver key business, budget & GP goals - Lead and manage a team, prepare work schedules and assign duties - Implement & manage best practice WH&S practices to achieve zero LTI’s - Monitor individual and team performance and workload and take action to address learning & development needs and performance issues - Establish and implement policies, goals, objectives, and procedures to improve business outcomes - Communicate performance expectations and support the team by building required competencies, providing feedback, managing behaviours, performance gaps and reviews - Ensure services are provided to the highest standard - Assist in resolving issues that arise - Develop strong client relationships - Determine staffing requirements, interview, hire, train new managers - Support marketing & sales in implementing operational efficiencies designed to grow the business - Establish cross training opportunities for staff to upskill between areas of the business **Why Join Us?** - Form part of a closely-knit, locally owned, high performing team with a 10/10 culture - We will train and support you - Career advancement and development opportunities - We are supportive and flexible. **What do we require from you?** - At least 5 years experience managing a labour intensive business - A leader championing company values and culture - A strong understanding of budgets and financials - Experience in preparing tenders and delivering client presentations - Understanding of WH&S systems and legislation - Understanding of industrial relations legislation desirable - Strong track record of driving business growth - Excellent communication and negotiating skills - Proven history to meet deadlines and achieve goals - Ability to manage employees to ensure they reach their potential - Excellent time management skills - High level of customer focus - Professional personal presentation - Understanding of MS Office Suite, rostering and cloud based software - Able to undertake flexible hours of work This is a genuine long term career opportunity for an experienced operational manager. Exposure to the cleaning services industry would be an advantage, but is not essential.
