- About the role:

- This purpose of this role is to position Quantum externally to achieve its strategic aims. Key deliverables will include developing and implementing the organisation’s external communications and engagement plan, advocacy agenda and fundraising approach._
- This role leads the Communications and Engagement team: Media and Communications Officer and Fundraising and Events Coordinator to ensure the integrity of Quantum’s brand, voice, and presence in external communications -media, website, social media platforms, events, and stakeholders._
- Deliver Strategic Goals through the development and delivery of a communications and engagement plan.
- Lead the development and delivery of Quantum’s fundraising approach and support the development and implementation of philanthropy plan.
- Lead the capacity building efforts across the organisation around communications and engagement.
- Develop and deliver Quantum’s brand, voice, and presence with the right audience to achieve key outcomes.
- Provide effective leadership to drive engagement, performance and strong outputs.
- Develop the individual and team workplan for the Communication and Engagement Team.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE** - what you will bring;
- High level of experience in managing communications projects and portfolios.
- Experience in developing and implementing change management and communications plans.
- Demonstrated leadership and staff management experience.
- Proven ability to work independently with a high level of strategic thinking, business acumen and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of the Not-for-Profit/Community service environment
- Valid Victorian Driver’s Licence |Working With Children Check |Police Check
