Following new 21/22 investment in Child Protection within Victoria, DFFH are looking for Team Managers to join our Child Protection team in Preston. This is a great opportunity for Managers passionate about working with families and stakeholders to join our teams sharing common goals, values and beliefs.

This position also offers a competitive annual salary ranging between $114,830 - $125,735 plus super, in line with level CPP5.2 of our VPS Enterprise Agreement, generous leave entitlements, professional development, and supportive of work life balance with flexible working hours.

***Role Responsibilities**:
The child protection Team Manager is a pivotal role. You are responsible for effective service delivery, managing resources and budget, cases awaiting allocation and a team of practitioners. The Team Manager has the formal delegation to endorse and review case plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes. The position will work collaboratively with the Senior Child Protection Practitioners to strengthen case practice, provide effective service delivery and to support child protection practitioners

**Essential**:

- Mandatory qualifications - A recognised Social Work degree or a similar welfare or behavioural related degree or a recognised Diploma of Community Services Work.
- Valid Driver's Licence
- A current Working with Children's check card

**MANDATORY VACCINATION POLICY**:
