**What you will doAs our Principal Portfolio Officer, you will**: - Manage, monitor and report on corporate performance, projects, programs, DAF's portfolio and core business including risk, outputs, outcomes and benefits in a dynamic and fast paced environment. Prepare briefing notes, presentations, information papers, reports and correspondence on corporate performance, projects, programs, DAF's portfolio and core business including matters for discussion with departmental executives, Ministers and other stakeholders. Analyse information and clearly communicate useful and relevant findings about DAF activities, projects, programs and portfolio to support effective organisational performance management and investment decision-making by Senior Leaders and governance committees, and to meet statutory whole-of-government reporting requirements. Provide advice and build capability in performance management and the management of projects, programs, portfolio and core business across the department through education, training and communities of practice. Contribute to a culture which fosters collaboration, evidence-based decision making, innovation, and performance orientation. Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to build trusted and strong working relationships. Represent DAF on forums and committees and in whole of government processes as required. Contribute to other activities of the DAF EMPO and Corporate business group as required.What you will bringKey competencies: All employees are expected to role model leadership behaviours.
