Your role as the Delivery Manager will deliver an outstanding customer experience **Lead the change, from the frontline** A newly created position the **Delivery Manager - Customer Platforms** is responsible for taking our amazing customer systems to the next level. Based in **Melbourne**, this role is working across the enterprise collaborating internally and externally across the Powershop/Shell Energy/Shell landscape to deliver unsurpassed Customer Platforms that embrace modern engineering, DevOps practices while implementing SaaS solutions the delight and WOW. With respect, integrity and honesty, you will: - Implement customer-centric technologies and recommendations from architecture and then supporting your team to adopt and maintain them at a platform/squad level; - Implement delivery standards, frameworks and patterns to ensure that solutions/platforms conform to enterprise controls and industry best practices; - Provide input into architecture decisions, software/technical evaluations and design of platforms and services; - Build, introduce and maintain modern engineering practices. Champion code/architecture reviews to demonstrate robust solution designs, that embrace AWS/Salesforce/Data platforms best practices and approaches; - You live and breathe observability, you build platforms that support high-quality at scale, using best practices in software delivery (DevOps, TDD, CI/CD). Your teams deliver systems with tools to gather actionable data that provides not only when of an error or issue, but—more importantly—the why; - Partner with product owners to create, refine, estimate and elaborate your team's backlog of work and clarify ambiguity; - Work with team members, architects, data scientists and/or business stakeholders as necessary to produce fit for purpose documentation/design (including coaching others to improve their designs); and - Accountable for the day to day relationships with partners and key vendors, cultivating trusted long-term relationships that deliver on outcomes that delight our customers. **What you’ll bring** Here’s what you’ll need to thrive in this role: - You are customer-centric in your approach, your laser like focus on providing a positive customer experience at all stages of the experience helps you and your organisation provide solutions that delight and provide competitive advantage; - Your exceptional interpersonal skills (including mentoring, coaching and collaboration) drive your passion for building a well-balanced, high performing team.
