AGL has an opportunity for a Manager - Psychosocial Safety

Based in Sydney or Melbourne, as the Manager - Psychosocial Safety you will be leading the development and delivery of initiatives, support and communications focusing on ensuring a psychologically safe workplace across the enterprise.

You will work closely with the HSE Leadership Team, and you will help shape AGL’s strategic focus and lead the implementation of initiatives and projects that improve our HSE performance.

What you’ll be doing:

- Policy and framework development - designing and implementing policies, procedures and frameworks to support psychosocial safety within the organisation.
- Collaborating across the enterprise to ensure alignment and implementation of psychosocial safety programs.
- Risk management and compliance - Continuously review and refine AGL’s approach to managing psychosocial risk in the workplace.
- Partnering internally with P&C, Safety and Operations teams to embed psychosocial safety into broader organisational practices.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of existing initiatives and implementing enhancements where needed.

What you’ll bring:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mental health, Health and Safety, Human resources or other related field.
- Program development experience - designing and managing enterprise-wide psychosocial safety and mental health programs or similar.
- Significant experience working in complex organisations, with the ability to partner and collaborate across business units and stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of psychological health and safety, Metal health and strategies for managing and mitigating risk in large organisations.
