**The Opportunity**
The Investigations, Conduct and Assurance Unit investigates matters that may be referred by the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), the Office for Public Integrity (OPI), the Ombudsman South Australia (OSA), South Australian Police (SAPOL) or through internal reporting mechanisms. Such investigations are conducted utilising a collaborative approach, complying with organisational and government policy, common law standards, legislative requirements and principles of natural justice and procedural fairness that are free from bias and can withstand internal and external scrutiny.
The Unit Manager, Investigations, Conduct and Assurance is responsible for the management, leadership and coordination of internal employee conduct investigations referred to the Unit and proactively provides specialist expertise and advice to ensure adequate control systems and strategies are implemented to mitigate misconduct risk throughout the Department.
The Unit Manager is responsible for building relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and to continually assess and manage the risks of fraud, corruption or misconduct. The Unit Manager ensures departmental policies, procedures and processes maintain a strong fraud and corruption prevention framework, and that staff are aware of their obligations.

**Qualifications/Experience**
Minimum qualification Certificate III in Investigative Services or Diploma of Fraud Control or other equivalent qualification or experience.
Othe qualifications such as a degree in law or criminology or completion of a detective training course/program or equivalent is desirable.
**Special Conditions**
A National Polce Check (NPC) is required prior to employment in the Department for Infrastructure and Transport which must be renewed every three years.
Some out of hours and weekend work, along with some intra/interstate travel requiring overnight stays, may be required.
**Remuneration**
ASO7 - $108,109 to $116,864 pa + superannuation
