**About the role**:
Our client is an Australian Owned Subsidary of a global enterprise in the resources industry. We are working closely with them to find a skilled System Administrator to join their Digital Transformation division.

Reporting directly into the Senior IT Manager, you will assist in the management of the implementation of IT strategy, providing high efficiency to the company’s IT infrastructure, maintaining and improving highly secure IT enrolment and managing external IT support services.

**Key responsibilities of the Systems Administator will include**:

- Management of overall IT Infrastructure including hardware, software, networks, cloud, facilities etc.
- Install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings etc.
- Manage the IT infrastructure (on premise and AWS) with a particular focus on IT security and stability.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- 3-5 years’ experience implementing and supporting:

- Windows Server 2008, 2012+
- Amazon Web Services
- DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, RAS
- Active Directory, Certificates, SSL
- Exchange Server 2013+
- Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint 2013
- SQL Server 2013+
- LAN & WAN maintenance and security
- Powershell
- Backup software Commvault
- VMWare vSphere 5.5+
