**Assistant Manager - Phoenix Hotel**
- $74,000 base salary + Super + Half yearly bonus

The Phoenix Hotel was built in 1887, just 20 years after James Nash discovered gold in Gympie, and was named after the North Phoenix No. 2 Mine. To this day there are three tunnels under the Hotel, the closest being 100 metres from the surface. These days the Phoenix Hotel is a warm, friendly and tastefully refurbished dining and entertainment venue situated in the heart of the local community of Gympie. We specialise in quality pub dining with country hospitality

This is a brilliant opportunity to become an Assistant Manager with ALH Group

**What you’ll do**:

- Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time
- Manage the day to day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guests
- Bring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guests
- Be creative - develop and grow the business through your own initiatives

**Qualifications**:
**What you’ll need**:

- Hospitality/Retail leadership experience, ideally working across food, bars and gaming
- Ability to lead, develop and coach a large, multi-skilled team
- Operational experience to achieve financial and business targets
- Highly developed customer service skills
- Current industry RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager qualifications
