Our client is one of Australia's leading manufacturers of meat processing machinery that has been in operation since the 1980s. They design and supply high quality industrial products and services to both domestic and global customers and are a market leader.

**About the role - Warehouse Leading Hand role**

We are looking for a Warehouse Leading Hand at their Crestmead site to manage the receipt storage and dispatch of stock and inventory, ensuring a smooth operation through the facility. The role will involve the coordination of staff activities, communicating with key departments and resolving queries and discrepancies. You will also ensure that compliance to a safe working environment is meticulously followed. This is a Temp to Permanent opportunity.

**Duties**
- Maintain and organise fully functioning storeroom and storage areas
- Compile stock control data and record to maintain correct inventory levels and accurate purchasing and shipping documentation
- Prepare or process requisitions, orders, invoices, or other documents for purchasing and dispatching stock items
- Coordinate all staff activities concerning stock, including advising and communication with staff regarding stock-handling, rotation, preservation, quality, shipping, and storage requirements
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between stock and records
- Liaise with supplier representatives
- Ensure that all workplace and work-related conduct is legal, ethical and moral

**Skills & Experience Required**
- Experience working in a Warehouse environment
- Previous experience in a leadership role to co-ordinate and manage staff
- Stock management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident and outgoing nature with a professional attitude
- Good organizational and planning skills
