**About the role**
As a Proposal Manager you will lead proposal efforts from pre kick off to delivery - ensuring responses are strategic, visually compelling and compliant. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats: managing timelines, crafting messaging, polishing content, and adding visual polish to proposals

As the Proposal Manager you will provide a sound level of advice and guidance to a range of stakeholders across the Company with respect to bid proposal and development activities. You will be instrumental in the development and preparation of winning proposals and work closely with capture teams and key internal stakeholder groups.

Key to your success will be your ability to be a strong team player, engage with diverse stakeholders, build strong relationships and be able to coordinate, drive and educate to achieve business objectives. You will manage conflicting priorities with confidence and your flexible, proactive approach will see you adapt easily to the changing demands of a dynamic environment.

This role is based in Mawson Lakes.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- The Proposal Managers primarily responsibilities include:
- Lead the planning, coordination, and management of the on time delivery of proposal development activities in accordance with Company processes and compliant to customer request.
- Edit and format proposal content for consistency, clarity and accuracy
- Use graphic tools (or learn to use them) to create simple infographics, org charts and layout enhancements
- Provide effective leadership in the execution of proposal activities including but not limited to meetings, issue resolution, actions, and reviews to ensure achievement of proposal delivery and outcomes in relation to schedule, budget, timeframe, and proposal quality

**About you**:

- To be successful in this role you will also have:

- Highly developed communication and influencing skills
- Proven experience in providing analysis, advice, and recommendations to management
- Intermediate to advanced skills and experience in the use of MS Office Suite and SharePoint
- The ability to motivate and lead a team where tight deadlines are commonplace
- A team-oriented attitude and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines

Ideally you would have Experience in ASDEFCON proposals and developing strategic bids in the Defence industry.

**Special Requirements**:

- Applicants must ideally have an Australian Defence Security Clearance, or at a minimum be eligible to obtain and maintain one.
