As a Technical Designer with prior experience in payments, you'll act as the key technical resource for large enhancements, new projects, relevant to the in-store solutions. This key role will see you responsible for designing secure and scalable solutions to fit into the payment’s ecosystem.
Design secure and scalable solutions to fit into the payments ecosystem that aligns with the broader in-store roadmap /strategy.
Work with the business to deliver and support solutions that meet their strategic requirements and remains aligned with the core product.
Manage the creation of conceptual and logical business solution designs for new business solutions, communicate solution design to relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with various Solution Architects to provide solution design options, including effort estimates, for identified gaps.
Project Guidance and support navigating through the complexity of solution architecture options and the long-term roadmap.
Creating and presenting architecture proposals and representation at various design council and architecture forums
Participate in technical/PCI audits and design reviews.
**Your Experience and Expertise**:
Knowledge and prior experience in the payment’s domain (instore payments / terminals) offering thought leadership is essential.
Good understanding of payment message standards (AS2805/ISO8583), design/integration patterns, crypto/key management, PCI DSS standards, payment frameworks and security principles would be highly regarded.
Understanding of Digital Technologies including Cloud, Mobility, User Interfaces, Microservices, and Decentralized Systems is desirable.
Analytical mindset with ability to take a holistic approach to problem identification and solving.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal form
Prior experience working in an Agile environment.
