As our new Project Manager overseeing the Mooramong Development Project, co-funded by the State Government’s ‘Regional Tourism Investment Fund’, you will play a pivotal role in this significant project within the state’s visitor economy.

**About the role**:
Working closely with our Assets, Commercial and Marketing teams you will oversee the creation and establishment of a tourism and accommodation project at the historic location ‘Mooramong’. This end to end role will be responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. The main focus of this role is to ensure timely execution of the design and operation of a new tourism offering.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Lead and develop the commercial partnership of a new revenue generation concept
- Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of productivity against negotiated targets and implement strategies to meet agreed targets
- Manage project pressures e.g. budget, council, permits etc.
- Provide support with branding and campaign documents in conjunction with our Marketing Team and contractors
- Coordinate resources and oversee the smooth delivery of conservation plans and new onsite builds
- Manage the extensive stakeholder management for the project including multiple contractors and partners
- Accurately forecast business and market needs
- Recruit and manage the experience development contractors, including an EIO process
- Manage sensitivities including the site's significance
- Conduct high-level reporting, including financial
- Management of onsite project operations -partnership management
- Install, bump-in, interpretation changes, setup etc.
- Passion about Heritage, and/or Business Development and are eager to share that passion with
others
- Extensive and demonstrable success in project management/development and/or tourism
development(essential)
- Proven ability to develop personal and corporate relationships with internal and external
stakeholders
- A demonstrated ability to lead, manage and work effectively in a complex and changing
environment
- A strategic, creative, and practical mindset and planner
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptable and pragmatic problem-solver skills
