Youthworks is seeking a Customer Care and Program Design Specialist to join our COE team. Youthworks Christian Outdoor Education leads the way in professional Christian Outdoor Education. Through the practise of temporary community, our passionate, enthusiastic, and highly skilled team use outdoor learning experiences to bring together bible-based discipleship and outdoor education in a unique and powerful way. The team is made up of a talented up of a talented bunch of people who love Jesus, seek adventure in the outdoors and believe that not all lessons are best taught in the classroom. They are just as passionate about Christian ministry to young people as they are about adventurous experiences in God’s creation.

**About the role**:
Bring to bear your specialist outdoor education programming skills to collaborate with schools and other clients to design world class Christian Outdoor Education experiences. Build new, and maintain existing, relationships with Christian Outdoor Education (COE) clients whilst providing logístical and administration support. Oversee information flow between COE groups and relevant stakeholders so as to assist the delivery of COE Programs in a professional, helpful and timely manner.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with customers online, on the phone and in person to design world class Christian Outdoor Education programs
- Identify opportunities to offer information and make product or service suggestions based on a client’s needs
- Work closely with new and existing clients to determine their present and future needs and propose suitable services to meet these
- Manage high quality client-centred service that achieves an effortless experience for customers and promotes Youthworks in a positive way
- Manage clients requests and needs through prompt and courteous contact and follow up whilst following Youthworks practices and policy
- Accurately maintain and keep up to date client records, booking information and visual diary interface with the CRM database
- Assist in the answering of incoming queue calls
- Conduct Centre Visits as appropriate with clients
- Coordinate with relevant COE Stakeholders regarding school visits
- Provide general administrative assistance as required

**You will need to demonstrate**:

- Current church-based child protection training endorsed by the Safe Churches Training Agreement
- Relevant experience in the outdoor education or education sector
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and to be flexible to reflect changes in priority
- Previous experience using CRM systems
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing strong customer service
- A systematic and focused approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail
- Personal Christian faith and willingness to work within an Anglican organisation
- Commitment to work with Youthworks’ mission

**Desirable**
- Experience with planning and managing small to large scale events
- Experience working in a ministry team

Flexible arrangements are important to our team. After an initial qualifying and training period, you may be eligible for flexible arrangements such as working from home, working non-standard hours, additional time off for school holidays, or other negotiated arrangements.
