Our facilities to the west of Melbourne are truly impressive. Our teams work hard to ensure food safety is our priority by resolving problems efficiently, effectively and thinking outside the box to troubleshoot, while maintaining a safe working environment.

**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, a supervisor will lead a fast-paced team and direct shift activities for our dock area. This includes labour scheduling, performance management and ensuring proper warehouse procedure are followed.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Completion of duties relating to warehousing and distribution as required
- Ensuring the facility management and Inventory System is maintained efficiently and accurately
- To ensure that all data entry relating to the movement of stock is completed accurately and on time
- To ensure that all documentation is filed as per operational and company requirements
- Ensuring that all company equipment is handled in a responsible manner, at all times
- To liaise with other departments as required whilst developing positive working relationships to ensure compliance and to limit unnecessary delays due to inadequate processes and non-compliance issues
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Perform preventive maintenance programmes as determined by the manufacturer’s equipment
- Respond efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment downtime
- Daily Meetings
- Work on a 4 on, 4 off roster which consists of 12 hour shifts, 6 am - 6pm

**Knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for**:

- Demonstrated leadership experience in the supply chain and logistics field
- Clear and accurate, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organisation skills
- OH&S and Quality compliance minded
- Experience in working with Microsoft office and a WMS system
- Ability to train and induct staff into new and existing procedures
- Willingness to be hands on, and help complete warehousing tasks when required
- Forklift License required
