**About the company**
Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a **State Government Agency** to engage an AO8 Health, Safety and Wellbeing Officer.** **This position is located in their busy Brisbane CBD** **office for an initial **6-month** contract.**

**Duties**
- Developing and leading Health, Safety and Wellbeing strategies, policies, processes, systems and frameworks;
- Build positive relationships with key stakeholders, including senior
executives, and inform both strategic and technical discussions about workplace health, safety and wellbeing matters
- Ability to lead and coordinate analysis of WHS data to guide and
information evidence-based, proactive and timely decision-making by key stakeholders

**Requirements/Skills**
- Formal qualifications in a work health and safety would be highly regarded such as Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51319) or Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualifications in this field.
