**What’s the role?**

The purpose of Portfolio Optimisation squad is to partner with stakeholders across the LOB, to identify opportunities and drive initiatives that optimise outcomes for Westpac Group’s $500b Home Loan portfolio and its 1.2m customers. The Portfolio Analytics Manager for Mortgages will use data driven insights to support the portfolio optimisation strategy, which covers a range of commercial levers such as price, policy, product and process enhancements.

The role is end to end - giving the individual a great opportunity to shape up the problem statement, scope the solution and help drive execution through key stakeholders (e.g. Product, Pricing, Distribution, Marketing, Risk).

**What do I need?**
- Established experience in a commercial role either product or price management, consulting, analytical, finance or a relevant business role
- Good interpersonal skills to enable effective collaboration with key stakeholders across the mortgages value chain
- Results driven and strong commercial acumen, coupled with great written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with banking products, balance sheet and revenue drivers
- Experience including Python and SQL along with the use of predictive analytics to forecast commercial and customer outcomes highly desirable
