Chapel Hill Uniting Church is an active, intergenerational congregation actively seeking ways to connect with the community through worship, faith-life groups, community service, youth activities and prayer. As a growing congregation, we face new challenges and opportunities to make disciples and offer meaningful engagement within the congregation to build on the foundations laid by congregations of the past and offer pathways for new members to make Chapel Hill UC a part of their lives.

To lead the development and delivery of a social media strategy, incorporating digital discipleship and an online worship program aligned with Chapel Hill UC’s mission. The Digital Discipleship Pastor will promote opportunities for evangelism with the wider community and improve communication between existing ministries and church members. An additional area of the ministry will be leading and teaching youth and young families and providing pastoral care within these groups. The role will provide spiritual leadership that motivates and encourages involvement through volunteering and team building for everyone to be involved in church life.
