Southern Cross Cleaning is a Western Australian owned and operated commercial cleaning company. We currently have a great opportunity for an experienced Area Manager to join our growing team.

**Key Duties**:

- Scheduling and undertaking site audits to ensure high cleaning standards are maintained across all of our sites.
- Identifying and rectifying issues raised during audits or by staff and clients.
- Training new staff and providing regular interim training for existing staff.
- Setting up new sites, including training staff.
- Work Health and Safety (WHS) audits and continual improvement.
- Coordinating relief employees, staff changes, and staff leave.
- Relief cleaning (if required).
- Participating in management meetings.
- Direct management of Cleaning Supervisor.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Good time management, as it is a fast-paced role with often-changing responsibilities.
- The ability to manage and build relationships with staff, suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Great communication skills, verbal and written.
- A valid Australian driver’s licence.
- The right to work in Australia.
- A genuine desire to be part of Southern Cross Cleaning’s continuing success in the industry and our fight against Modern Slavery.
- Ability to work flexible hours across weekdays, mornings, days or evenings.
- Knowledge of, or experience in, the commercial cleaning industry is highly advantageous, however it is not essential. If you are an experienced leader of people and an excellent relationship builder, we can teach you everything you need to know about our exciting industry and our growing business.
