**About the Role**
OMRON is excited to announce a 6-month paid graduate program, designed to provide talented individuals with real-world experience and training in the dynamic field of robotics and automation. As an engineering graduate, you will have the unique chance to work on cutting-edge projects, gain hands-on experience, and learn directly from industry experts. Our graduate program is specifically designed to equip individuals with valuable skills and mentorship, ensuring a transformative learning experience.
This graduate program will involve a balance between extensive training and valuable work experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- **To learn**: Collaborate closely with experienced OMRON engineers, receiving mentorship and guidance. Acquire practical skills in Automation and Robotics through comprehensive training programs, hands-on experience and observe the real industrial processes.
- **To contribute**: Proof of concept and R&D duties which involve testing of vision system and robot concept, assisting with presentations to customers, and testing duties at different customer sites. And assist senior engineers with various duties.
- **To thrive**: Showcase capabilities during the internship to seize potential employment opportunities with OMRON or its customers and foster stronger relationships between OMRON and universities through the program.
**Whom we are looking for**:
- This position is suitable for **graduates or final year students** in an **Electrical or Mechatronics engineering degree** looking to pursue a long-term career with OMRON.
- Has exposure to 3D printing technology and basic competence in 3D design software (can translate sketches into detailed 3D models).
- High achiever within their academic and extra circular activities.
- Team player: Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Self-motivator: Be ambitious, hardworking, and willing to step out of your comfort zone.
