Seeking an IT Systems Analyst for this Local Government organisation, based 30 minutes south of Perth.

This role is based approximately 30 minutes drive south of Perth, will operate typical business hours (38 hours per week) and will be on an ongoing contract basis.

Reporting into the Coordinator of IT Operations, you'll provide technical knowledge and support for the management of the City's ICT infrastructure. This will include:

- Perform system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting and escalating issues, including proactive problem resolution to maintain system performance to meet business demand.
- Reduce operational risk and improve availability of the ICT infrastructure by ensuring system access, monitoring, control, evaluation and documentation practices are maintained and adhered to.
- Develop, maintain and perform operational procedures and ensure operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages
- Evaluate, plan and implement new system hardware and software solutions.
- Collect and analyse operational data (especially incident and change records) to identify emerging trends and logs problem records to assist with problem resolution and increased system availability.

In terms of your background, you'll have experience with:

- Microsoft Server and Messaging solutions, (Active Directory, Group Policy and Exchange)
- Server visualisation (VMWare and Cisco Hyperflex
- Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM CB)
- Network switching and routing (Cisco).
- Qualification in Information Technology or demonstrated capacity to progress towards achieving these qualifications.
- ITIL v3 Foundation.
- 'C' class driver's licence
