As Evaluation Officer (qualitative focus), you will play a key role in supporting evaluation projects within the Victorian Government (Department of Health and Department of Families, Fairness and Housing). Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting with the design and implementation of evaluations, using various methodologies to contribute to the development of recommendations that align with government priorities.
You will work closely with team members to gather and analyse data, helping to address complex issues with practical, evidence-based insights. Your work will contribute to informed decision-making and the improvement of service delivery.
In this role, you will focus on contributing to the completion of projects, managing your tasks efficiently, and integrating feedback to continuously improve your work. Your efforts will support the strategic and operational goals of the Victorian Government.

**Qualifications / Specialist Expertise**
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in public health, evaluation, psychology, health and social sciences, public policy, or another discipline with a strong evaluative and qualitative research methods focus component would be desirable.
- Applicants with a tertiary qualification in other fields but with work experience in the above fields and experience in qualitative evaluation techniques would also be considered also suitable.

- Demonstrated capacity for appropriate and ethical engagement with a range of stakeholders, including service users.
- Project management: The ability to prepare and submit schedules for projects, monitor performance against these schedules and deal with administrative problems that arise.
