About the job

We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to join our team at our Wagerup Refinery as our HR Coordinator on a 12 month fixed term contract.

You would be working to support all areas of site with being the first point of contact. Your day will be varied, with the focus on providing coaching and advice for all on site. This could cover everything from organisational development initiatives, employee relations activities, and training requirements, to ensure that strategic objectives are met aligned to our Company objectives.

As the HR Coordinator, you will be the conduit for achieving optimum efficiency at the location for all HR processes and is to be fully engaged in activities affecting the delivery of a professional and credible HR service.

Accountability and engagement within the business from this role will include:
- Provide a support to site in a range of areas from policy interpretation through to coaching on system use.- Providing administrative support to the site HR Team.- Producing monthly analytics and reporting to assist location Management to improve people management.- Support and assist HR Consultants on preparation of Position Descriptions to ensure all key accountabilities and inherent position requirements are captured.- Administer and facilitate HR communications to employees and information gathering activities, focus groups, and related analytical activities for consistent and clear communication in a timely manner.- Support the review and development of learning guides and training resource documents to ensure accuracy and integrity of information, utilising the Controlled Document System.

About you

To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all areas of the business.- A proven commitment to delivering HR outcomes in an accurate and timely manner, with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.- An understanding of employment law principles, practices, acts, and regulations in Australia is desirable- Well-developed administrative skills, including strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills.- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and coaching skills.- Bachelor’s degree or other Formal Qualification in HR or related field with some vacation employment, otherwise working knowledge in a similar HR support role.
