We are currently seeking skilled compassionate, and reliable Support Workers to provide in-home care to elderly people in **Williamstown** and surrounding areas.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

As a Support Worker, you’ll help clients live independently, feel respected, and stay connected to their community by assisting with:

- **Personal Care** - Supporting clients with showering, grooming, and daily hygiene routines
- **Home Cleaning** - Household cleaning and laundry tasks are a **core part of the role**, helping clients maintain a safe and comfortable living environment
- **Meal Preparation** - Cooking simple, nutritious meals
- **Shopping** - Assisting with errands or accompanying clients to the shops
- **Transport** - Pick up/drop off services, driving clients where they need to go.
- **Respite -**Relieving informal carers from their duties for a specific time in or out of home.
- **Social Support** - Engaging clients in **companionship**, social outings, home-based activities, appointment activities.
- **Wellbeing Monitoring** - Observing and reporting changes in physical or emotional health
- This role involves **travelling between client's homes**.

**What You’ll Need**
- **Minimum availability of 3 weekdays Mon-Fri.**:

- A **genuine passion for supporting others** and making a positive impact
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- **Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability, or Aging Support**, with accompanying academic transcript _(students nearing completion welcome to apply)_
- **Current Victorian Driver’s License** and reliable, insured vehicle
- **Police Check** or NDIS Worker Screening Check
- **COVID-19 vaccination evidence** (as per public health orders)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $43.24 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
