As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will focus on our branch and territory networks; to provide support and ensure daily operations are successful. As a crucial team member in our organisation, you will establish a customer service focused environment with emphasis on innovation, excellence and strategic problem solving. Inventory control is vital and should be managed in a cost-effective and timely manner.

This role is for a self-motivated, hands on, versatile, leader who is knowledgeable in industrial products, hardware, and consumables, with a clear demonstrated focus on excellence in customer service, and development of Staff. This role will report directly to the Assistant Branch Manager.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **Manage** a team of 5 ensuring they complete their duties in line with company policy.
- **Foster **a culture of development and success by identify opportunities for improvement with staff and in processes.
- **Ensure** that visions and strategies are translated into specific deliverables to get results while maintaining the operating budget.
- **Plan and execute** daily functions of the operations to ensure all activities are processed.
- **Ensure** all freight is sorted accurately and in a manner that will reduce product damage.
- **Supervise** and adapt inventory measures to ensure adherence to branch processes.
- **Work** alongside the branch manager to achieve a strategic branch plan.
- **Engage **with sales and operations teams to improve on DIFOT measures

**To be successful in this role you need to**:

- **Proven operations experience** in a high volume and fast-paced environment is essential.
- **Knowledge **of industrial products is a bonus
- **Understanding** the market, organisation, and customers to create competitive advantage.
- **Ability **to identify areas of improvements and make effective changes taking into consideration resources and constraints.
- **Proven **history of customer service excellence.
- **Computer literate **at an intermediate with MS Office skills - including Excel, Word and Outlook, PowerPoint. Pronto experience advantageous
