Global automotive company based in Dandenong requires a Service Quote Writer in a fulltime role

**Your new company**

The Service Quote Writer (SQW) position is responsible for coordinating and finalising Material Handling Equipment repair quotes. This role provides assistance to ASR’s by providing quotes to customers for all tyre and wheel replacements in addition to any Rental return, De-hire Customer damage Repairs. The main function is to complete quoting process and submit to the customers in timely manner. The SQW works closely with the Area Service Representatives (ASRs) and overall Branch Service and Rental Teams

**Your new role**
- Provide quality service to all TMHA rental and retail customers. Working with TMHA internal departments, suppliers, contractors and Account Managers to ensure accurate pricing is applied to all quotes.
- Work with the Rental Manager, ASR’s and Service Department to ensure all Rental return De-hire Customer damage to TMHA Rental units is priced accurately and invoiced according to customer Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions.
- Follow-up and chase outstanding quotes in an endeavour to improve the level of customer service and to maximise retail work. Keep track of quotations and provide relevant reporting when requested.
- Compile and complete all quotes in accurate and timely manner to meet TMHA and customer requirements.
- Submit and follow-up Service Quotations because of returned additional work sheets relating to the replacement of tyres or from a Customer’s request and de-hire inspection reports.
- Liaise with technicians and identify necessary parts, sublets and labour required for repairs.
- Coordinate and carry out other duties as requested by the Branch Service Manager, which will include support during high demand workload and to assist during the absence of ASR’s.
- Convert any completed Field Service jobs into quotations for customer purchase order confirmation.
- Where specifically directed and requested by Branch Service Manager, prepare and submit all Warranty claims. This will only be required if requested.
- Where specifically directed and requested by Branch Service Manager, maintain stockholding off all returned warranty parts and return to warranty Administrator as required
- Calculate and provide Load Capacity Plates as requested for new attachments and modifications to fleet and customer equipment

**What you'll need to succeed***
- An understanding of the industrial service sector, particularly the materials handling industry, with particular emphasis on the technical aspects would be desirable.
- Proven experience with liaising and negotiating with all levels of management, internal and external customers.
- Experience in processes high level of Purchase Orders and Quotes in an accurate and timely manner.
- Solid experience in the spare parts department and TMHA system knowledge
- Strong ability to pick up on new tasks and systems in a timely manner
- Possess the ability to work automatously but has the ability to work as a member of a larger team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Honest and ethical in all dealings with customers and TMHA personnel.
- Strong computer literacy skills
- Trade/mechanical background with field or workshop experience (beneficial)
- Experience with Microsoft products (word, excel, outlook) and ERP system
- Technical experience with MHE (desirable)
- LF forklift licence & drivers licence
