**The GAMURS Group seeks a capable and talented Australian Editor to join **We Got This Covered** in its journey to redefine gaming and entertainment media. **This is a full-time role based in the GAMURS Sydney office, with support for flexible working arrangements.**

**Desired Experience/Qualities**
- 2-3 years of professional editorial experience for a digital publication; experience in the entertainment industry is highly preferred
- Impeccable writing and editing skills
- Experience managing and working with a team
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Trends
- Experience with Slack, Trello, and WordPress
- Experience working in a global company is highly valued
- A pop culture fanatic who lives and breathes film, television, and more

**Responsibilities**:

- Help ideate, plan, and execute short and long-term content strategies relating to the entertainment industry in consultation with the team and senior editors
- Edit and mentor staff and freelance writers in the We Got This Covered style guide, helping refine and improve the entire process from pitch to publication
- Work closely with the global We Got This Covered team and senior staff to grow the presence of We Got This Covered in Australia and globally
- Approve pitches from writers and assist them with content generation ideas
- Increase site traffic, as measured by sessions and MAU growth on an ongoing basis
- Stay up-to-date and identify upcoming trends in the entertainment industry
- Write as needed
