The Southern Adelaide Local Health Network (SALHN) is a leading provider of Healthcare Services across multiple healthcare facilities including Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga Health Services. Our Social Work Service is integral in our aim to optimise healthcare outcomes for patients in our community.

**About the Roles**:
SALHN have opportunities available for professional AHP1 and AHP2 Social Workers to join our highly diverse and experienced team. Details of what the roles include:

- Delivering a quality Social Work service to acute adult in-patients/out-patients with psychosocial needs and their families
- Undertaking psychosocial assessments, consultation, intervention, education, liaison with community agencies, organisation of appropriate resources, and management of discharge
- The ability to rotate though a series of clinical services with an opportunity to develop a variety of clinical skills and knowledge
- Working collaboratively with staff and all members of the healthcare team
- Contributing to the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement activities and research to ensure best practices and optimise service delivery and outcomes

**About You**:

- Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Ability to exercise initiative, analyse complex problems and implement practical solutions
- Demonstrated competency in psychosocial assessment
- Demonstrated competency in the clinical management of a broad range of conditions
- Ability to initiate and lead change that results in improved outcomes and facilitates continuous quality improvement
