**The Role**

As part of our growing HR team, we are currently seeking a permanent full time HR Business Partner for our VIC/TAS/WA/SA region. The purpose of this role is to:

- work closely with the Group HR Manager and Senior Managers and provide strategic and operational HR advice and services to meet key business objectives
- work collaboratively with designated business divisions, management teams, and on projects to advise on and improve HR practices and team member engagement.
- Areas of activity include but are not limited to organisational design, change management, interpretation of HR policies and employment legislation, introducing new ways of working, supporting and building the capability of managers to optimising the performance of their people.

**Key Responsibilities Include**:

- Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business
- Coach, mentor and develop people leaders to be successful in their roles and achieve business objectives
- Provide professional strategic and operational HR advice on the interpretation of policies, employment legislation, recruitment strategies and managing change.
- Proactively participate in forums and projects to ensure the provision of fit for purpose HR solutions to meet project and or division/business needs.
- Work collaboratively with centres of excellence (CoE) to deliver successful fit for purpose outcomes for business
- Lead or contribute to key organisational development and change projects
- Maintain safe and healthy work practices, report risks, hazards and incidents as they arise

**About You**

To be successful you will have:

- Tertiary qualification in HR and/or business-related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a HRBP capacity
- Experience partnering with leadership teams to manage complex people management issues and identify solutions.
- Retail experience preferred but not essential
- Sound working knowledge of GRA and/or Retail EBAs
- Current Driver’s License
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
