The Employer is a leading Manufacturer in Electrical Switchboards based in Mulgrave VIC is searching for a skilled Metal Fabricator to join their team and be a part of something exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
Metal Cutting and Shaping: Using advanced tools and machinery to cut, shape, and form metal into desired specifications.
Welding and Assembly: Expertly welding and assembling metal components with precision and accuracy.
Reading Blueprints: Interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints to execute projects according to specifications.
Quality Control: Ensuring the highest quality standards are met throughout the fabrication process.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaboration: Working closely with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess;
- Minimum 3- Year work experience as a Metal Fabricator with hands on experience working with electrical switchboards.
- Minimum Certificate Level III in Engineering
- Proficiency in metalworking techniques, including cutting, welding, and shaping.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new fabrication techniques and technologies.
