Summary
Required skills
Cert III in Painting and Decorating with Diploma in Construction and Management and a minimum of two year of work experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wall paper, fixing wood work, filling any cracks and holes and smoothening and sealing surfaces to prepare the area for painting
- Erecting scaffolding and ladders, in compliance with work safety and ensuring to work in safe environment
- Selecting and preparing paints by mixing accurate portions of pigment, oil, thinning agents and necessary additives to create the correct paint mix
- As per work order requirement, paints to be applied in appropriate patterns or as a feature if required
- To ensure that the right mix of colour is appliedas per work order details
- Clean all equipment and work area after completion of work and ensure compliance to OH & S guidelines
- Ensure all equipment and ladders are stored away carefully at the end of the job to keep area safe
- Report to Management if there are any concerns in completing work orders on a timely basis and communicate work progress regularly

**Benefits**:
