**About the Role**
As a specialist in Cloud and Compute you will be supporting the Storage and Compute functionality in the Cyber Engineering team.

Specific duties will include:

- Deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of modern VMWare solutions, primarily VxRail but also Software Defined Data Centre, VCF.
- Deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of VxRail and VMWare vSphere solutions.
- NSX-T, vSAN, and multiple Virtual Centre environments.
- Experience with PowerCLI and PowerShell skills.
- Tuning of monitoring, trending, and consumption tools.
- Documentation of storage and compute environment.

**Skills and Experience**
- Demonstrated experience in installing, supporting, and administering virtualization (VMware) products (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of VMware Infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge in vSphere, vRO, VxRail, NSX, VMware Cloud foundation 3.x/4.x.
- Certification in VCP -vSphere.
- Demonstrated experience in VMware ESX Enterprise administration (desirable).
- Ability to hold and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.

This role can be done remotely but some on-site attendance (to meet the team and perform hands-on infrastructure work) will be required from time to time.
