**About Us**:
Woodcrest is a P-12 College in the Greater Springfield area of Ipswich. The Primary sector has an enrolment of approximately 760 students. Woodcrest is committed to providing rich opportunities to engage with the Australian Curriculum through inquiry learning.
Conveniently located across the road from the Springfield Train Station, our specialised Primary and Secondary Schools are resource rich settings with the latest technologies, gymnasiums, laboratories, playing fields, performing and practical arts programs. We also have an Academic Enrichment Program available from Year 7, Sports Excellence in AFL, Volleyball and Basketball and an on site Kindergarten and Trade Training Centre.
**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Promote an inclusive culture and practices to ensure equity and excellence for students with disability in collaboration with school leaders.
- Manage timetables and provide assistance and support to staff to optimise learning, engagement and wellbeing outcomes for students with disability.
- Develop and support high quality of teaching and reasonable adjustments for students with disability in accordance with related legislation and policies.
- Coordinate and provide the delivery of high quality advice and support including advisory staff & therapists to inform and provide reasonable adjustments for students with disability.
- Manage and deliver operational requirements appropriate to the HOSES role including for example, risk management, transport, personal care requirements, medical plans etc.
- In collaboration with school leaders, plan, develop and implement strategies to enable access to curriculum learning including development of individual curriculum plans for students with disability.
- Coordinate and provide targeted teaching for students requiring support and intervention including academic, behaviour and wellbeing interventions.
- Undertake coordination and case management responsibilities in collaboration with school leaders, staff and relevant stakeholders.
