**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Content Marketing Manager within the Brand & Content team. The Communications Specialist will be responsible for the development of a range of member communications, collateral and campaigns, helping members to understand and engage with our offering and navigate with confidence. Collaborating with wider business stakeholders, you’ll create various service-based and marketing communications throughout the member lifecycle, in line with our brand tone of voice, writing principles and guidelines.

***About you**

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

- 5-7 years’ related experience in copywriting and/or communications for a medium-to-large sized business.
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in copywriting/editing/journalism/ communications /marketing or related field/s.
- Excellent writer and proven experience producing a variety of content consistent with brand writing style and aligning to customer needs and objectives.
- Experience writing communications for regulated environments with complex risk and approvals processes.
- Outstanding organisational and project coordination skills, including the ability to set priorities, multitask, manage time, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.
- A strong customer focus with a genuine interest in health and wellbeing.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, unrelenting attention to detail and focus.
- Excellent time-management skills with a proven ability to deliver to scope and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

***Desirable skills**
- Genuine interest and experience in the field of health or health insurance is highly desirable.
- A passion and enthusiasm for creative thinking and innovation.
- Experience in delivering multichannel member focused lifecycle communications for regulated industries.
- In-platform knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Experience in the health insurance or financial services industry
