HCS empowers people of all abilities to succeed, currently through the provision of high-quality laundry and cleaning services.

**About The Role**
- Provide specific training and development to supported employees in the workplace in accordance with their support plans
- Ensuring supported employees remain on task
- Liaise with mainstream Coordinators/ Supervisors and Team Leaders regarding updates on the laundry floor
- Assist with work experience and complete file notes on progress
- Undertake worksite inductions and initial training for work experience students
- Provide feedback to Team Leader through formal and informal processes
- Attend QSR meetings with supported employee
- Complete administrative documentation in accordance with NDIS
- Audit DPT’s 6 monthly

**About you**
- Certificate III - Community Services or equivalent (mandatory).
- Showing initiative and dedication for operating within a person-centered framework.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills accompanied with conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage challenging and complex situations
- A clear understanding of WHS obligations and industry standards
- The ability to develop positive working relationships with team members and other Holy Cross staff
- Motivated and reliable with the ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Ability to write objective case notes, planning documentation and written and verbal reporting
- Sharing a sense of responsibility and accountability
- Ability to think and act creatively, problem solve and develop strategic solutions to work requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office programs (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook etc.).
- Production/Laundry knowledge is highly regarded but not necessary as training will be provided.

**Requirements**:

- Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Current COVID 19 Vaccinations
- Able to work in a repetitive role that requires a level of manual work, including standing for long periods

Pay: $28.57 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
