Port Melbourne, Australia Vipac Engineers & Scientists Full time

We are seeking an Acoustic Consultant to join our team in Melbourne.

We will consider engineering or science graduates, and also experienced Acoustic Consultants.

The role involves the following responsibilities:

- Conduct acoustics projects (primarily traffic and environmental noise assessments for residential, industrial and commercial developments in a team environment).
- Take noise measurements using appropriate instrumentation and methods.
- Use modelling software for noise predictions and assess mitigation strategies.
- Provide acoustic solutions.
- Write technical reports and liaise with clients

We are looking for the following skills and attributes from the successful applicant:

- Degree level qualification in engineering or science
- A motivated self-starter with enthusiasm to learn and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Permanent work rights in Australia.

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
