- **Job summary**:_
We have an immediate opportunity for a **Logistics Co-ordinator** to administrate our customer bookings**.** This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week based at our Rocklea DC where we have a fleet of up to 15 trucks and 40 staff undertake furniture delivery and installation to our customers.
Our Despatch & Logistics office is open 7:30am - 4:30pm therefore the successful applicant will require flexibility to work between these hours. Your prior work experience in a busy DC/multi-site work environment would be advantageous, but not essential.
You will be responsible for all administration duties within the Despatch & Logistcs team, assisting with production schedules and interacting with our Customers every day. Reporting to the DC Logistics Manager you will be supported by an experienced administration team. As no two days are the same, you will need to be a skillful communicator with a knack for adapting your communication style to different customers and situations.
Don’t worry, we will provide In-house training to get you up and running
- **Job functions**:_
- Monitor orders and check accuracy of customer details
- Assist with truck run schedules and updating Excel spreadsheets & Logistics software
- Goods inwards stock for Despatch deliveries
- Create service dockets and stock transfers for inter-store transfers
- Liaise with internal sales staff regarding on time deliveries
- Creating invoices on a daily basis
- **Preferred skills and experience**:_
- You can demonstrate an ability to analyse, problem solve with a mature outlook
- Professional telephone manner
- An ability to multi-task, prioritise and effectively achieve deadlines
- Well-developed Customer Service skills which results in prompt, efficient and courteous service
- Able to adapt and work in a busy, high pressure and often changing work environment
- Routing experience is preferred but trainable
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,500.00 per year
