**The role**
The role of the Digital team is to work closely alongside the client team to ensure campaigns are executed, amplified and optimised with an effective, efficient and future facing approach that positively provokes growth.
The Digital Manager (Programmatic) will drive the digital implementation process to deliver and surpass the objectives of one of our key clients. They will be responsible for upholding the highest standard of campaign delivery and will be tasked with further enhancing campaign implementation through digital solutions that are driven by data and technology.
This is an exciting role for one of the largest and fastest growing Wavemaker clients. With a brand accelerating their digital maturity, they go to a market with campaigns of all types making this is an opportunity to build experience across a range of brand and performance objectives for a client that pursues growth and encourages innovation.
**Core responsibilities**:
At Wavemaker we classify role responsibility across four key areas.
People
- Responsible for in-campaign performance, ensuring best practices applied from the outset for best-in-class delivery
- Responsible for controlling workflow both in and outside of the team - including consistent reviews of what is working and what isn’t and looking for solutions for outstanding issues
- Responsible for development of the junior team. Ensuring KPIs are set, performance reviews are held regularly, and training needs are addressed appropriately
- Working with the Digital Director to elevate ability of wider team members in Digital specialisms
- Builds expert knowledge of the wider Wavemaker offering to be equipped with solutions to enhance our capability
Clients
- Establish an understanding of client challenges, objectives & initiatives and develop relationships with the client team
- Build relationships with Media and/or platform partners, ensuring strong relationships are developed from the outset and resulting in access to alphas/betas, tailored product updates, aligned communication with clients
- Maintenance of strong relationships with the wider team to ensure that the Digital team can add maximum value to client brief responses. This includes the education of the team around best practice and ways of working which prevent this
- Help build on the agency's reputation for outstanding client service. Ensure delivery against client expectations every time
Product
- Ensures team are upholding best practice planning processes and challenges bad briefs which prevent this. This includes creating and rolling out processes around appropriate investment levels, planning principles etc.
- Working alongside the Digital Manager (Social) to create a consistent approach across channels and share learnings or build innovative campaign structures across multiple touchpoints
- Advances the reporting offering to increase the standard across the team and create commentary that is clear, jargon-free and insightful for clients
- Ensuring up to date knowledge of digital innovation, product launches and share relevant updates with a point of view
- Challenges the status quo offered by platforms, thinking critically about their solutions in order to get the best outcomes for our clients
- Ensures team are expertly versed in an approach to measurement and that plans in place to move from media metrics to directly attributable outcomes
Growth & Marketing
- Manage the junior team to ensure all financial and compliance processes are followed with 100% accuracy
- Manage all aspects of monthly budget and performance tracking across brands and campaigns
- Jointly accountable for fulfilling client JBP requirements across partner platforms
- Ensures all buying is correct as per media plans
**Experience**
- A deep knowledge and well versed in the Google stack with 3+ years experience
- A strong operational mindset and ability to deliver in a fast paced environment
- A thorough understanding of the digital ecosystem and able to make recommendations based on that
- A passion for delivering the best possible outcomes for our team and our client
